Due to some personal issues I will not be blogging for the next week. If you happen to know about these things I could use some advice. If you don't, just be praying that I would be humble and that God would be exalted.

praying for you joe! two verses that i have been thinking about a lot recently in the situation we are in which is similar to yours are these:
"Indeed, all who desire to live a GODLY life in Christ Jesus will be persecuted" 2 timothy 3:12 (emphasis mine)
its not just any christian who will be persecuted, but the ones who are living in a godly manner.
also,
"So we do not lose heart. Though our outer self is wasting away, our inner self is being renewed day by day. For this light momentary affliction is preparing for us an eternal weight of glory beyond all comparison, as we look not to the things that are seen but to the things that are unseen. For the things that are seen are transient, but the things that are unseen are eternal." 2 cor 4:16-18
pretty self-explanatory but i always need God reminding me of the fact that anything here is light and momentary.
you already know all of this, but its just some stuff i have been thinking about in our situation.
